The Wuskwatim Generating Station and the related Transmission Project together comprised were one of Manitoba's largest construction projects since 2006. Most of the work was awarded through open tenders to qualified contractors, with a variety of tendering opportunities made available as the work was required over the six-year project life span.
WPLP had no direct role issuing contracts, since they were handled by Manitoba Hydro. Information on Wuskwatim contract tendering was listed on the Manitoba Hydro Tendering Opportunities web page.
